Teen events and activities at the Hyrum Library include ages 12-17.
There are plenty of activities, events, contests, and spaces for teens to enjoy the library services.

Welcome to the teen zone

Do you need a space to study? Hand out with friends? Play a game? or just sit and relax?
Well, this is the space for you! Grab a table or a seat on the couch and enjoy computers,
playing the X-box, free activities such as coloring pages, Sudoku, and a monthly craft. 

• Activities: 
  • The Library hosts regular activities each month Be sure to follow the library @hyrumlibrary and the monthly newsletter about activities for the month. 
    • Board Game nights
    • Movies
    • Trivia nights
    • Author visits
    • Mario Kart Tournaments
    • Art activities and contest
    • Holiday parties
• Computers:
  • We have computers that are reserved just for the teens  use in the Teen Zone. (A library card is not required for usage.) There is a 2 hour limit per day for use, the library also has laptops and i-pads that are available for checkout with a library card. The library has free internet access that is perfect for schoolwork, video games, or anything else you may need.

• Monthly Craft:
  • Each month a craft is available in the Teen Zone, supplies are provided if you would like to hang out and make the monthly craft at the library, but you are also welcome to take it home. 
• X-Box: 
  • X-Box controllers are available to check out for one hour. With four controllers, you can be joined by others and play games like Minecraft. To check out a controller, you must have a library card and be 12 or older.
    You are responsible for any losses or damages to the X-box or controllers.
