100 Books Before Graduation

What is it?
100 Books Before Graduation is a program aimed at high school students between 14 to 18 years of years of age to encourage a good reading habit before graduation. This program is modeled after 1000 Books before Kindergarten.
Who can participate?
Teens who want to participate are between the ages 14 - 18-Before the teen graduates high school. Home school students are also encouraged to participate!
How does it work?
Teens will fill out a registration form found below or at the desk at the library. After the teen registers, they will receive a Book Tracker. Teens will track and read 10 books at a time and return each complete tracker to the desk. This program runs year round, so teens can go at their own pace! This program can only be completed once per teen.
Completed Book Tracker!
After a Book Tracker is completed, returned it to the desk where the teen will receive the next Book Tracker and receive a prize! Teens will also write their name on a name tag to be used on the bragging wall in the Teen Zone.
Missing Book Tracker?
If you loose your book tracker, stop in the library and ask for a new one, we have plenty, make sure you keep track of what book range your on so you can start where you left off. You can also print off a tracker below.
What Books are allowed?
This program encourages teens to read for fun or educational purposes. If you need book recommendations or find yourself in a reading slump, reach out to any library staff, take a look at the book lists around the library, or browse on Goodreads.
Finished the 100th book?
After a teen finishes the 100th book, bring the completed Book Tracker to the desk for a final prize! Teens who reach the 100th book will receive a $10 Amazon Gift card and a book!
