Book Club

Monthly book club is a place to learn about everyone's favorite genre, or sometimes we will focus on a specific book. Make sure to check out the library calendar for more information on dates and theme. 

Chess & Checkers Club

Chess & Checkers club is an easy-going club that meets the first Friday of the month from September to April. The club if full of casual games that are beginner-friendly with opportunities to make new friends who like to play chess and checkers too! 

If you are a chess or checkers expert or passionate about chess or checkers, we are happy to accept a volunteer who wants to teach basic chess or checkers skills! Please give us a call at 435-245-6411 or stop in and fill out a volunteer form. 

Monthly Events

The library hosts regular activities and events for teens on the last Friday of the month. Follow the library on social media @hyrumlibrary or check out the teen newsletter for all the information about events. Events include the following: 

• Art Activities and contests
• Author visits
• Board Game nights
• Holiday Parties
• Mario Kart Tournaments
• Movie Nights
• Triva Nights

Summer Reading

During the months of June and July teens are welcome to participate in the summer program. It's simple, Teens ages 12-17 can track their reading with reading logs, turn them in, and have a chance to win prizes! Teen programs are planned for both months to encourage continued reading.
