The Planning, Zoning & Building Department's goal is to make life better for the residents of Hyrum City by working with citizens, property owners, businesses, and others to create a great place to live, work, play, and do business.

The Department can answer questions and provide information on current city code, zoning maps, the general plan, and construction inspections. City Staff can help you with the information necessary for construction permits and the processing of residential and commercial development requests.

Supply shortages are affecting construction throughout the region.  Some supplies have a 52 week (1 year) delay.
