Hyrum City Skatepark Rules

Use of this facility has inherent dangers including serious injury or death. Hyrum City is NOT responsible for these dangers.

The use of proper safety equipment such as helmets, gloves, knee, elbow, wrist pads, and proper shoes are highly recommended. All users shall provide their own equipment and ensure that it is maintained and in good working condition. Bicycles must have working brakes, plastic pedals without metal pins, plastic handlebar ends, and plastic pegs. Scooters must also have plastic handlebar ends.

For the benefit of all participants, please comply with the following skatepark rules;

-No motorized vehicles allowed.

-Skatepark is open from dawn to dusk unless otherwise posted.

-No glass containers or gum. Please use trash receptacles.

- Alcohol, Tobacco, and use of electronic cigarettes is prohibited in all of Blacksmith Fork Park including the skatepark.

- No makeshift items or modifications to existing ramps, rails and like items allowed. 

- No organized events without the written approval of the Hyrum City Parks Department.

-Unruly conduct, language, music, defacing or misuse of the facility may result in loss of park privileges.

-Hyrum City may close the facility without notice for maintenance, unforeseen circumstances, weather conditions, or misuse.

-Participants are expected to inspect and make sure surfaces are safe and dry before using.

-Please report any damage or hazardous conditions to the Hyrum City Parks Department.

Please help us in taking care of this care by picking up all litter and reporting any misuse.
